Aqua, have you let me down?
I haven't blogged in a whie, because I've been feeling uninspired. After looking at their new women's range (I want EVERYTHING), I took a trip to the men's section.
Wow...
Probs not in a good sense. I mean, I'm happy that they've retracted from the low cut vests and cult prints - but they've turned less samey and more, well, boring. If that makes any sense. No? Let me explain...
I like their Xavier Polo in Mint - no other colour, just that one in particular. Although for £65 I do find it a little extortionate.

The Charlie Coat is cool.

I like the texture on the sleeves, I like how it's kinda not really a coat, I like the fact it has a mean hood. I'm not gonna lie.
And the Oswald Cobblepot Jacket.

but maybe I just chose that because of it's fabulous name.
Normally I find things to go out and snap up, or trends to look for - And I hate being negative about this brand because, I do have "big love", for them. I just can't see anything innovative or fresh or worth that kind of money. The genius that's gone into the female designs had obviously ran out by the time they got to dressing the male. Disappointing Aqua, what do you guys think?

Who likes short shorts?
The summer season is officially here! (This is if the Rain God pipes down) - or if you've booked a holiday then you'll definitely be looking forward to basking in the Sunshine!
So now that this has been established, let me show you some shorts :-)
You've probably heard of humor, a danish brand that channel drop crotch jeans and colourful tee's. Although these shorts are rather tame compared to some of their designs, these are still different enough to stand out yet definitely wearable and can be classed as one of your wardrobe staples. Wear with navy blue - this colour combination is really pleasing me right now.

£53, ASOS
Whilst browsing through ASOS, I also came across The Pearly King. Now, after doing a little research I've found that Pearly King are a British brand that champion themselves on their tailoring and attention to their quality in the detail. These shorts are definitely my fave. And if you're feeling a little sovereign, tartan will ensure you're the head of your clan.

£70, ASOS
And if you're a student, look out for the 20% discount currently on offer at ASOS.com

Stubble
WARNING SHAMELESS PLUG.
Done a spot of writing for a new and different magazine, "Stubble"
Released on 1st June - head to Magma in covent garden to pick up your copy. First 100 are free, then it's £2.25
It won't tell you what to wear (like I do!), but it focuses on important issues, fashion, grooming - and being yourself all the while.
Trust me, it'll be a brilliant read :-)

AAA
Aware that I have not blogged in a while. I should be ashamed of myself. I know.
Went to Westfields the other day and spotted AAA collection in Topman. Ideal if your channelling your inner rock god for Glasto this year.
I'll let the Big Guy (Gordon Richardson, the design director) explain. "AAA was born out of a seed of an idea whilst styling bands & musicians for our Flagship New York store opening. it became apparent that whilst we may happen to have a fleeting Rock and Roll trend in store what we needed was a more permanent one with a music DNA that our customer could buy into regardless of seasonal influences. A range that made you feel and look like a rock star."
My favourite picks are..
This 'sheer tulip shape jersey crew' (£28)
This 'black leather hooded gilet' (£100)
This 'black marble print vest' (£16)
Aaaaaand this 'stone straw trilby' (£18)
